My Passion for EMDR
When I first started using EMDR with clients, it seemed too good to be true. And yet, I watched in awe as client after client experienced healing that was powerful and lasting. This transformed not only my approach, but how I saw myself as a therapist. I started Bilateral Innovations to help make the world a better place, one client at a time… and being able to provide Approved EMDR consultation, courses, and resources to EMDR therapists around the world is truly a dream come true.
My Experience as a Therapist, Consultant, and Trainer
They say half of life is just showing up. I guess there’s some truth to that, because when I look back on my career I’ve had the privilege of helping a lot of people. I’ve made a lot of mistakes along the way, but it’s humbling to stand back and reflect on the impact. I’ve now conducted over 15,000 hours of therapy (most of which was EMDR therapy) with over 1,000 clients, over 1,000 EMDR therapists have taken my online courses, and over 5,000 individuals have purchased my EMDR-related books.

I specialize in providing Online EMDR therapy to high-achieving men like CEOs, Elite Athletes, and other Professionals living in Minnesota, Florida, Nevada, South Dakota, and Texas. I am currently am accepting a limited number of new clients at my private practice, Lion Counseling.
