Through his company, Bilateral Innovations, I provide EMDR consultation and continuing education for therapists around the world. I am the creator of 2 EMDRIA-Approved courses, and the author of 7 EMDR-Related books. I'm also blessed to be the owner of a thriving group therapy practice with 10+ employees.
Everyone has their own definition of success. But for me, it's about the freedom to devote my time and energy to what matters most in life.
Because I now generate revenue through my employees, my consultation services, and my courses and books, I'm no longer trading dollars for hours, or stuck in a 9-5 job. Through "passive income," I now have the freedom to spend more time with my wife and kids, travel, and devote time to the parts of my business that I'm most passionate about.
To get to this point, I certainly worked very hard, and had the support of an amazing friend and business partners in my wife, Rachel. But I couldn't have done it through effort alone. I made a lot of mistakes, took risks, and invested in the future even when it was challenging to do so. For example, a few years ago, I was invited to participate in an exclusive "Mastermind" group led by Scott Hallman, an executive business coach who once coached Tony Robbins. Each month, I had a conference call with other clinic owners around the country, and it was an opportunity for us to share with one another our best ideas, and glean the wisdom and clarity of Mr. Hallman. At the time it seemed like so much money to invest in a process, but looking back, I now see that it was worth every penny. It was a step towards where I am today.
Growing a business can be daunting, and so if given the opportunity I'd be honored to be your business coach. I won't have all the answers, but I will share with you what I know and serve as a trusted guide on your journey.
